One of the quote unquote upsides of a Donald Trump presidency is the fact that we’ll get to keep seeing him roasted by every late night talk show host on television. I know that’s not much of a silver lining, but at this point I’ll take whatever I can get.

On Friday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian sent a camera crew to interview members of a demographic whose feelings about the election have largely been ignored. I’m talking, of course, about children. And really, why shouldn’t we be listening to them? After all, they’re going to be suffering the consequences of this election for longer than any of us.

So how do kids feel about the thought of growing up under President Trump? Short answer: not great.

Just quietly, how smug was that Canadian kid? He looked like he was about five seconds away from shouting “so long suckers” straight down the barrel of the camera. Then again, can you blame him?
