We knew Lizzo was going to bring a show to the 2019 VMAs (have you seen what she did with NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert!?), but we didn’t expect a giant inflatable butt. Then again, she is 100 percent ‘that bitch’.

The 2019 VMAs are on right now, and Lizzo took to the stage to perform a medley off her two biggest hits, ‘Good As Hell’ and ‘Truth Hurts’. Joined by a troupe of twerking dancers, Lizzo blitzed through the performance — even taking a pause to drink from a crystal-encrusted bottle of tequila.

But despite all of the vocal stretches and literal wig-snatching moments, we were utterly transfixed by the giant thong-wearing butt in the back of the stage. Sure, there was no flute solo — but who cares?
