Kimye Threw A Music Festival For North West’s First Birthday
Because Kanye's life is dope and he does dope shit.
Power couple and well-known purveyors of subtlety Kanye West and Kim Kardashian celebrated the first anniversary of their daughter North’s coming into the world over the weekend. In typically understated style, Kimye just threw something together at the last minute — daggy party hats, lolly bags, an entire outdoor music festival named “Kidchella” in Kourtney Kardashian’s backyard.
Y’know, standard kid stuff.
Complete with live performances from Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner, a bunch of teepees with cool stuff like face-painting and hair-braiding inside and a goddamn Ferris wheel, Kidchella continues the proud tradition of rich celebrities using their infant’s birthdays as an excuse to throw huge parties for themselves.
North West gave no comment on events because she is a freaking one-year-old and will remember absolutely none of this, but fellow tiny partygoer Ryan said “goo!” before presumably throwing up on his custom Yeezus t-shirt and getting palmed off to the nanny.
