Jamie Oliver Left A Thirsty Comment On Lorde’s Instagram And The Internet Went Bananas
Um, he called her "babe".
If Moses had delivered the Ten Commandments in 2017, he would have left two specifically relating to Instagram: don’t double tap when you’re 86 weeks deep, and don’t leave hella thirsty comments on someone’s post if you’re old enough to be their father.
It’s a pair of guidelines that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver could have used yesterday.
Oliver — the cookbook author, father-of-five, and now-certified Instagram lurker — was caught out last night leaving a questionable comment on Lorde’s most recent post.
The singer had posted a photo of herself looking nice on a balcony, with the caption “in Oslo looking like a president’s wife or some shit.” Nothing out of the ordinary… until someone spotted this comment from Oliver: “Your funny babe hope your well j.”
Now, this could have been totally innocent — but it feels like pretty creepy comment to leave for someone who’s 22 years your junior.
So naturally, Twitter had a field day:

Jamie Oliver creeping on Lorde is like a horrible British remake of an American teen film involving a jock and an outcast falling in love.
