HSBC’s Sydney 7s is taking over Allianz Stadium from January 26-28 with international men’s and women’s teams hitting the field to battle it out in the biggest sporting event of the summer. Forget watching an entire 90-minute game – at the Sydney 7s, the teams go head-to-head in seven-minute halves, so it’s fast, furious and a whole lot of fun.

If you’ve been to the 7s before you know there’s more to it than the action on the field: it’s also a 3-day excuse to hold one of the city’s biggest parties. Along with die-hard rugby fans, you’ll join crowds of mates just there for a good time, and costumes – the more creative the better – are 100% encouraged, so you’d best bring your fancy dress A-game.

Off the field, there’s plenty going on, with live DJ sets, sausage sizzles, an HSBC Beach Club, (complete with sand, deck chairs, and the best seats in the house), and comedy duo TippyTappy Sports providing live commentary (catch them in action below).
