There have been rumblings that we could soon see an announcement that the rejuvenated Guns N’ Roses lineup will be making their way to Australia sometime in the near future. Now it’s official: Gunners are coming back. In a big, big way.

Bringing their Not In This Lifetime tour to Australia in early 2017, Guns N’ Roses will perform in some of the country’s biggest venues — including Melbourne’s iconic MCG, marking the first headline concert there since The Police performed in 2008.

Guns N’ Roses were last in Australia in 2013. Since then, as you are all pretty well aware, lead singer Axl Rose has reunited with classic era bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan — something we didn’t think we’d see in this lifetime (hence the tour name). The classic era lineup of Gunners last performed in Australia at the infamous Calder Park concert in 1993.

Tickets for the Not In This Lifetime shows are priced from a pretty bloody reasonable $91.65, with general onsale kicking off on Friday 26 August.
