Sure, listening to music isn’t a competition, but sometimes it’s nice to know who’s on top.

In the spirit of healthy state-based competition, we asked streaming giant Spotify to gift us with the lowdown on which Australia state listens to our beloved Gang of Youths the most, calculated by a percentage breakdown of your listening habits for the last three months.

Good old Tasmania has landed in the #1 spot, with the ACT and South Australia coming in hot in #2 and #3 respectively. Despite being their home state, New South Wales only comes in at #6, beaten resoundingly by Victoria and Queensland. Check out the full ranking below.

As for the most popular Gangs songs on Spotify, ‘Let Me Down Easy’ comes out on top with over 14 million streams. It’s followed by The Positions cut ‘Magnolia’ (with a respectable 11 million plays), ‘The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows’ (six million), and ‘What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out’ (also six million.)

Gang of Youths’ Australian tour kicks off this Wednesday in Melbourne. They’ll be hitting up all major cities around the country throughout November — for all dates and details, head here.
