There’s A New ‘Dirty John’ Trailer And Hot Damn Does This Show Look Like Delicious Trash
Eric Bana is in full on serial killer mode.
Another trailer for true crime series Dirty John just dropped, featuring yet more serial killer stares from leading man Eric Bana.
Based on the smash-hit podcast of the same name, the series stars Bana as a man who catfishes a wealthy Californian woman (played by Connie Britton) into marrying him. John then slowly takes control of every aspect of her life. The true story is kind of tragic, but if there was any doubt the TV adaptation would be playing up the trashy soap opera vibes, the fact that they’ve used a cover of Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ in this promo should make that crystal clear.
Dirty John hits screens in the US on November 25. Netflix has secured the international broadcast rights and is set to release the series later in the year.
