We’ve Hired Captain Morgan To Be Our ‘Captain Of Culture’ & He’s About To Drop Some Knowledge
Captain Morgan is Junkee's new Captain of Culture and he's about to make some captain's calls about everything you love.
Junkee’s newest team member is the king of fun, the connoisseur of culture, the swashbuckling Captain Morgan himself. He’s been hired as our very own Captain of Culture, and he’ll be bringing us spicy takes on everything from TV and movies to gaming and music.
Captain Morgan is the ultimate hype man, so we’re feeling #blessed that he’s torn himself away from planning his upcoming travels (#vanlife) to share his expertise on all the stuff we (and you) love.
Expect to see some quality content coming to the site, straight from the Captain himself, in the next few weeks. He’ll be going deep on everything from the best Aussie albums to iconic games and the very best episodes of cult classic TV shows.
He’ll even be dabbling in food, travel, and mindfulness during his time with us. The Captain will take on anything and everything pop culture, and do it all with his signature brand of buccaneering fun.
Anyone who celebrated in the Captain’s Cove at Splendour in the Grass will already be familiar with Captain Morgan. He led the charge throughout the festival and made sure nobody got left out of the fun – he’s the real MVP, the hero we don’t deserve, and our next Employee of the Month for sure.
TL;DR: Captain Morgan is a cultural icon, on par with Lizzo, Lady Gaga, and cats on TikTok. We simply have no choice but to stan.
