Someone Synced The ‘Captain Marvel’ Trailer With ‘Survivor’ By Destiny’s Child & It’s Perfect
Captain Marvel is a survivor (what), she's not gonna give up.
The new Captain Marvel trailer is here and it’s absolutely amazing and we are all running around screaming like outraged geese at a children’s party. But what if I told you this already perfect trailer could be made EVEN MORE spectacular?
The Captain Marvel trailer is already so good: we get to see Carol Denvers do the shakas in a fighter jet, shoot lasers out of her hands, go full Super-Saiyan in space… and not only that, but a magically de-aged Nick Fury also pets a cat a whole lot!
What?
We get to see Annette Bening as a Kree, the creepily erotic Ben Mendehlson as a Skrull… a fight scene in a train with an old lady — honestly, how could we ever make this any better?
Well, Twitter user @harleivy absolutely took that statement as a challenge, because she managed to ramp the trailer from brilliant into… utterly and ridiculously epic. And how did she do that? She added Beyoncé of course.
The trailer has been synced (and edited) to fit with the 2001 Destiny’s Child smash-hit ‘Survivor’, which is both thematically and tonally on point.
Just watch it — if you aren’t standing up in your seat and fist-pumping, then you might be emotionally dead inside tbh.

Isn’t it perfect? I’m going to watch it again.
People love doing this sort of thing on Twitter — it reminds me of the also perfect sync of the epic fight scene from Thor: Ragnarok with ‘Holding Out For a Hero’ by Bonnie Tyler that Twitter user @solversonlou did. The results are almost too good for this world — I don’t want to over-hype it, but it’s perfect.

Anyway — we can just get super excited and look forward to the film being released in 2019. Captain Marvel hits cinemas March 7th and I honestly cannot wait.
