It's on.
UPDATE: Since this story was published, Turnbull has barely survived the leadership spill. Read our coverage here.
Malcolm Turnbull has called Peter Dutton’s bluff and called a spill for the leadership of the Liberal Party.
That means a vote will be held later today to determine who will be Prime Minister. Sky News has reported that Peter Dutton will stand in the spill, meaning we’re set for a Turnbull vs Dutton showdown later today.
It’s not yet clear if anyone other than the PM and Dutton will put their names forward for the leadership, or if Dutton has the numbers to roll the PM.
