For the last few months, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and co. have been filming Thor: Ragnarok in Queensland, which means we’ve been lucky enough to have had a steady stream of Thor-hanging-out-in-Brisbane-cafes content.

Chris Hemsworth Has Apologised To Native Americans For An Ugly Bit Of Cultural Appropriation

Maybe it was our thirst for this local content that led to Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, brokering a deal for Brisbane to host a massive Marvel exhibition in May next year. The exhibition, which will take place at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), will display more then 300 items from the Marvel Studios like original artwork, film props and costumes and will be the largest ever Marvel exhibition on record.

Thor’s hammer, Iron Man’s armour and Captain America’s shield will all be on display, and in my mind, the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack will just be playing continuously on a loop.

The Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe exhibition will run from May to September next year at GoMA.
