All Of Your Favourite Actors Are Here In The First Trailer For ‘The Addams Family’ Reboot
They're mysterious and spooky!
Let’s face it: a reboot of The Addams Family was inevitable, and not only because we live in a culture where every single moderately successful property made before 1990 is being rebooted.
No, what made an animated re-imagining of the incredibly popular supernatural sitcom a no-brainer was the existence of one man — Oscar Isaac, AKA Poe Dameron, AKA a literal walking version of Gomez Addams, the patriarch of the Addams family. Isaac looks more like Gomez than Gomez does, and has the character’s charm and guile too.
But Isaac isn’t the only big name featuring in the upcoming re-imagining. The stacked cast also includes Charlize Theron, Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things fame, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler and Allison Janney, all of whom provide voices for the famously unusual American family.

The Addams Family is set to be released in the States on October 11. No Australian release has been set yet, but given that cast, it’s pretty much a done deal that it’ll be hitting our screens around the same time, so sit tight for more info.
